Owner & Senior HR Consultant

Hi, I’m Emily, the founder of Larkspur HR Consulting! With nearly a decade of experience in HR, I’ve seen firsthand how the right people strategies can make or break a business. My background in public health, an MBA in HR Management, and my various professional certifications all shape the way I approach HR, through a lens of legality, ethics, and efficiency.

I’ve always been a curious person, which means I don’t just focus on what needs to get done, I dig into why it matters. That curiosity helps me design solutions that don’t just check a box but actually work for both leadership and employees. I hold myself to a high standard of excellence and believe that great HR is about balance, supporting employees while driving business success.​

In my free time, you’ll find me hitting the slopes, out on the golf course, or cruising on my motorcycle. I also love tackling home improvement projects, caring for my houseplants, and spending time with my fiancé and our two cats. Since breakfast is my favorite meal, I’m always on the hunt for the best new brunch spots and when the PNW summer rolls around, I’m all about picnics!
